CONVERSATIONS ON COMMUNITY

Local dialogues are happening now around perceived global issues, not from a political perspective, but from simple concern and desire to address the world as we perceive it.  Two sessions have been held thus far: What is Truth?  and What is Greed?  A third will be coming soon.  Watch this announcement for time.  Place is the community room at Mountain View Market, El Paseo and Idaho Stst., Las Cruces.

ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

Watch this spot for news of our OCF meeting dates and times in the winter semester at NMSU.  Dr Louiza Fouli (Math Dept.) is faculty advisor to the Fellowship. Sergej Jem Baker is president, Artur Shustov is treasurer to the group. 

FR GABRIEL TEACHING AGAIN AT ST SOPHIA

Fr Gabriel will continue as professor of Biblical Studies at our seminary in New Jersey, St Sophia, during the 2010-11 winter term.  He will teach New Testament Studies: Selected Epistles and Acts.  Fr Gabriel will miss no Sundays during this time.  He will teach three days during one week each month from September - December.  This will be a strenuous schedule so please keep him in your prayers especially during this time. 

Fr Gabriel, who also teaches as an adjunct professor in the Anthropology and Sociology Depts. of NMSU, will not be teaching there this winter.
